Family is the foundation of Springfield Plumbing. For three generations, the Schagrin family has been in the plumbing and heating business. Beginning in the mid-1950s, Harry Schagrin started a small plumbing business in the Oak Lane section of Philadelphia. Later, his son Jeff moved the business to the emerging communities of Northeast Philadelphia and later Manayunk. And finally, Jeff’s son Steve, created Springfield Plumbing, an industry leader in water heater sales, service, and installations. This was accomplished while maintaining the core plumbing service business of the past 70 years.
